WIC Application Instructions

When you visit your local Kansas WIC office, you have to make sure that you bring the following with you:
- Proof of identity
- Proof of your residence
- Proof of your household income
If you visit WIC office without these documents, your application will not be processed. You will have to schedule another meeting and take full documents that time. For quick approval for Kansas WIC, make sure that you're talking to WIC program and learning what documents to take with you.
Eligibility Requirements
Kansas WIC program is only available to:
- U.S citizens or qualified aliens
- Residents of Kansas
In order to receive Kansas WIC benefits, one has to meet the categorical requirements.
- Pregnant women
- Breastfeeding women
- Postpartum women
- Infants under the age of 1
- Children under the age of 5
Those meeting the categorical requirements will have to pass income eligibility test before they can start receiving benefits through WIC program.

The program requires applicants to meet 185% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. The annual income limit according to household/economic unit size is:
