WAP Application Instructions

To apply for Michigan WAP, you will need to contact your local weatherization operator. You can locate an operator in your area using this link. Click your county on the map to see the information on operator in your area.

Eligibility Requirements

To receive weatherization services through Michigan WAP, you will need to meet the following criteria.

• You must be a resident of Michigan

• Your household income should be at or below 200% of Federal Poverty Line (FPL)

Households receiving SSI or Aid to Families with Dependent Children don’t have to meet income guidelines. They will automatically qualify for the program.
