WAP Application Instructions

Applying for the West Virginia Weatherization Assistance Program is a fairly easy process. Eligibility Requirements

West Virginia Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)-Residential Eligibility Requirements

Applicants to the West Virginia Weatherization Assistance Program must be residents of the state of West Virginia and either US national or registered legal aliens.

Participation on Other Social Service Programs

Applicants to the West Virginia Weatherization Assistance Program currently participating in other social service programs such as TANF, SSI, LIHEAP, and AID for families with children are considered automatically eligible for the West Virginia Weatherization Assistance Program. This stems from the fact that these programs have similar eligibility requirements to the West Virginia Weatherization Assistance Program.
